Setting boundaries can be a powerful tool for improving our relationships with others and our mental health. Boundaries allow us to communicate our needs and limits and to protect ourselves from harmful behavior. We may feel overwhelmed, resentful, or taken advantage of without boundaries.

Usually, when we think of setting boundaries, it's about protecting ourselves. We will not allow others to dictate our flow when we stand up for ourselves. Boundaries are needed because people will try to run over or manipulate you whenever possible.

How do you respond when someone shares their dreams or ambitions with you? Do you immediately start pointing out all the reasons why it won't work, or do you encourage them to pursue their dreams and offer support?

In life, we encounter two types of people - those who bear truth and those who kill dreams. Truth bearers are those who speak honestly, even when it's not easy. They provide constructive criticism, offer helpful advice, and tell us what we need to hear, not necessarily what we want to hear. On the other hand, dream killers discourage us from pursuing our passions and aspirations.

Hey everyone, thank you for joining this week's episode. If you are a Gen Xer, you may be experiencing perimenopause or menopause.

For the last ten years, if not longer, I've been dealing with something that has caused me much confusion and frustration. It is perimenopause. I don't know why this topic is so taboo, but we will discuss it. I don't know about you, but it sucks. I have been dealing with night sweats, brain fog, lack of concentration, you name it. I hate it. It's got to the point where I've gained weight, and I'm thinking, what in the entire fuck? So, I did my research, cut back on things, and added some things I've come up with. My body can't tolerate alcohol and sugar. I quit drinking and lost 9 pounds. So far, so good, and I'm still fun at parties, probably yes, but that's beside the point.
